Head to Prospect this February for free live music and entertainment in a relaxed outdoor setting each Friday night. Prospect Memorial Gardens provides the perfect setting for a family-friendly, end-of-the-week activity topped with food trucks, charity BBQ, pop-up bar and over 3 hours of good vibes.
The Twilight Sessions (previously known as Twilight Concerts) have been held in the Prospect Memorial Gardens since 1995. This much-loved outdoor live music event showcases SA bands and artists each Friday night in February.
Each week celebrates a different theme and aims to please a crowd of all ages. Come along to enjoy something new and have a dance!
FRI 2 - 'THE GREATS' TWILIGHT TRIBUTE
Get nostalgic with the Zkye Compson-Harris & The Boyz band and Bad Jelly DJs as they travel through time with music of great musicians who have passed. Think all your favourite songs from Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Prince...and more.
FRI 9 - WORLD BEATS
Dance the night away and celebrate diversity with energetic global sounds from Bortier Okoe feat. Telema Bii, Abraѕka (previously Conchillia) and DJ Twon.
FRI 16 - BLUES AND ROOTS
Settle in for a relaxed night of foot-tapping good vibes with strong vocals and melodic instrumentals from Alana Jagt, Aaron Thomas, Max McHenry Savage and Oisima (DJ Set).
FRI 23 - SPANISH FIESTA
Hola! Kick off your shoes and groove with us at the Spanish and Latin American dance party featuring Flamenco Dance Areti, Soul Macumbia and the Latino Grooves dancers.
The Twilight Sessions are family-friendly with activities for the kids and a upgraded playground. Enjoy a range of food trucks each week (The Satay Hut, Ozzie Gözleme, Chimichurri Grill) , BBQ by the Prospect and Blair Athol Lions Club, pop-up bar (VW Bars Mobile Cocktail Bars), free raffle giveaway each night (thanks to Fenwicks Real Estate) and great entertainment! Bring a picnic or enjoy what's on offer - see you there! DJ starts at 6pm.
