About

The Wooden Boat Festival of Geelong is a celebration of the history, tradition and heritage of Wooden Boats of all kinds.

Held biannually at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club, it is an opportunity for our community to see some of the most historic as well modern wooden boats sailing on Corio Bay. It also has a strong multicultural theme through our local communities as well as engaging our arts and schools.

The festival has a strong focus on children's activities as well as a great entertainment program at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club.

There will be Tall Ships, Couta Boats, Classic Yachts, Rowing and Motor Boats as well as Historic Skiffs from Sydney Harbour.

This event is FREE!
